Adjusting The Anti-Yaw System
The anti-yaw system prevents the boom yaw. The boom is able to rotate arround hinge point (A), preventing that machine movements are transferred to the boom. The polyurethane dampers (B) will absorb the movements and stabilize the boom in the horizontal direction. The pretension of the dampers can be adjusted. Release the hex nuts at position (C). To increase the initial tension on the dampers, turn the bolts at position (C) in clockwise direction. To decrease the initial tension on the dampers, turn anti-clockwise. Both dampers should be adjusted equally.
