Hydraulic steering drawbar control
Hydraulic drawbar control is available with a single steering cylinder (F) for flat fields or with two steering cylinders (G) for hilly fields. Using a double-acting selective control valve of the tractor, the position of the drawbar in relation to the frame can be controlled manually. The drawbar can then be adjusted so that the wheels of the sprayer run in the tracks of the rear tractor wheels when working at the field headland, or to correct the sprayer when spraying on hillsides and to prevent the sprayer from drifting away.
A mechanical lock (B) is integrated in the drawbar. The drawbar should be locked with lever (C) in position (E) when driving on the road, with the lock pin fixed into the frame of the sprayer (see also "Mechanical Transport Lock" in section "Transport"). The pin should be secured.
In the field, the connection of the mechanical lock with the frame needs to be unlocked by pulling lever (C) into position (D).
