Track Width Adjustment (Fixed Axle)

If row crop tires have been fitted, the track width can be adjusted by exchanging the left and right wheels. Due to the spherical shape of the flanges, the track width will change from 1.50 m or 1.80 m (flange to flange the spacing is 1640 mm).

If the machine is fitted with 480/70R38 or 520/70R38 flotation tires, only a 1.80 m track is possible.

The specified torque for the wheel nuts (M22 x 1.5) is 480 N·m. The nuts must be tightened in a cross pattern and be checked regularly.

IMPORTANT: The maximum permissible track width for the standard axle is 1.80 m.

With this axle, the track width can be adjusted by exchanging the left and right wheels. Due to the spherical shape of the flanges, the track will change from 2.00 m to 2.25 m depending on the fitting of the wheels. For a 2.00 m track width, the additional spacers (A) should be mounted as indicated. To change the track width from 2.00 m to 2.25 m, the additional spacers (A) should be removed. The axle width is 2.10 m (flange to flange).

The specified torque for the wheel nuts (M22 x 1.5) is 480 N·m. The nuts must be tightened in a cross pattern and be checked regularly.

IMPORTANT: The maximum permissible track width for this axle is 2.25 m.
