Drop Hoses

Drop hoses (A) may be required in order to apply liquid fertilizers in certain crop growth stages. The drop hoses are fitted to a separate spray line which can be attached to the spray boom. This can be done quickly and easily by sliding the pipes with drop hoses over the pre-fitted fixing brackets and fixing them with securing springs (B). The supply lines with hose sockets must then be switched from the spray line to the line with drop hoses. Pull the U-plug loose to uncouple the hose socket with hose and attach it to the appropriate line with drop hoses.

The drop hoses are single nozzle holders and are fitted standard with a stainless steel TEEJET ® CP4916-40 metering disc (also refer to "Liquid Output When Using Drop Hoses" in the section entitled "Working with the Machine"). Other discs are also available for other outputs. Always place the metering disc with the number facing the outlet. The numbers must not be visible when looking into the cap. A 75 cm PVC hose is attached under the nozzle holder. The drop hoses are spaced at a distance of 25 cm.
