Parking and Emergency Brake for Hydraulic Brake System
CAUTION:
Before travelling on public roads, always fasten the emergency brake rope to the tractor and engage the catch.
The hydraulic braking system is also fitted with a combined emergency and parking brake, which is located on the right-hand front side of the machine.
To brake the disconnected machine, proceed as follows:
-
Engage catch (B) of the brake lever (the catch must be visible).
-
Turn the brake lever (A) clockwise to lock the brake cylinders.
To unlock the parking brake, proceed as follows:
-
Turn away catch (B) from the brake lever (the catch may not be visible anymore).
-
To unlock the parking brake, pull loose brake lever (A) with a brief and clockwise movement and next put back the lever with an anti-clockwise movement.
-
Engage catch (B) of the brake lever (the catch must be visible).
Before travelling on public roads, the parking brake must be unlocked and rope (C) must be fastened to the tractor. This emergency brake facility ensures activation of the brakes by the rope in the event of breakage, loss or detachment of the pulled machine during road transport.
