Hose Reel with Washing Brush and Spray Gun
CAUTION:
Always wear means of personal protection during cleaning activities.
CAUTION:
Suction valve must be set to "suction of rinse water".
External cleaning of the machine must preferably take place on the field in order to avoid discharge of crop protection chemicals into the mains water network or surface water. On the front of the machine two connections can be used for connection of a hose reel (A) with washing brush (B) and spray gun (D) for this purpose. Washing brushes clean the machine much more thoroughly and use much less water than spray guns. During external cleaning, take due account of the electrical components; if necessary, cover them with plastic.
The hose reel contains 16,5 m hose in order to reach the entire spray boom. The hose reel can be rolled up using handle (C) by turning it in the direction indicated (anti-clockwise).
A quick release connector can be used to connect both the spray gun (D) and the washing brush (B). The brush can be turned through 360° by pressing the orange button on the brush handle. There is a knob at the top of the washing brush handle, with three positions for operation of the washing brush. This knob has the following functions:
-
In position "0" the water supply is stopped
-
In position "~" only water is supplied
-
In the "Mix" position, water and cleaning agent can be mixed if required.
In order to add cleaning agent, the transparent drain plug can be removed from the bottom and a hose connected for addition of cleaning agent (not available as standard). Supply of water from the machine to the hose reel can be opened with the ball valve (E). To do so, close the boom section valves and open the main shut-off valve to create sufficient working pressure. There is another pressure connection with ball valve (F) available for a spray gun.
