Boom Height Indicator
With the mechanical boom height indicator (A) the operator can read from the cab the height of the boom above the ground. A correct nozzle height is important to achieve a good transverse liquid distribution and minimize spray drift. Please see also "Performing the spraying" in section "Working with the machine" for the correct boom height.
The pointer (B) shows the adjusted nozzle height during spraying. With the adjusting screw (C) the "minimum point" can be set (depending on tires). Set the boom in the lowest position and measure the height of the nozzles above the ground. If the adjusting screw is loosened, the disc can be turned and the correct height can be adjusted and the screw can be tightened again.
