Hydraulic Braking System (Not For Germany)

In the case of hydraulic braking system (optional) hydraulic cylinders (A) have been fitted as brake cylinders. On fixed axles these cylinders are fitted in the middle of the axle. On sliding axles they are fitted to the drum brakes on the axle ends. The brake cylinders are operated by a trailer brake valve on the tractor.

Parking and Emergency Brake for Hydraulic Brake System

causym CAUTION: Before travelling on public roads, always fasten the emergency brake rope to the tractor and engage the catch.

The hydraulic braking system is also fitted with a combined emergency and parking brake, which is located on the right-hand front side of the machine.

To brake the disconnected machine, proceed as follows:

  • Engage catch (B) of the brake lever (the catch must be visible)
  • Turn the brake lever (A) anti-clockwise to lock the brake cylinders

To unlock the parking brake, proceed as follows:

  • Turn away catch (B) from the brake lever (the catch may not be visible anymore)
  • To unlock the parking brake, pull loose brake lever (A) with a brief and anti- clockwise movement and next put back the lever with a clockwise movement
  • Engage catch (B) of the brake lever (the catch must be visible)

Before travelling on public roads, the parking brake must be unlocked and rope (C) must be fastened to the tractor. This emergency brake facility ensures activation of the brakes by the rope in the event of breakage, loss or detachment of the pulled machine during road transport.
