Axles

The 800i-series trailed sprayers can be equipped with different types of axles:

• fixed axle (8-bolts) for track width 1.50/1.80 m (for 832i and 840i with a maximum speed of 25 km/h)
• sliding axle (8-bolts) for track width 1.50-2.00 m (for 832i and 840i with a maximum speed of 25 km/h)
• sliding axle (8-bolts) for track width 1.72-2.25 m (for 832i and 840i with a maximum speed of 25 km/h)
• sliding axle (10-bolts) for track width 1.50-2.00 m (for 840i with speeds above 25 km/h)
• sliding axle (10-bolts) for track width 1.72-2.25 m (for 840i with speeds above 25 km/h)

The hubs with 8-bolt connection have a hub diameter of 221 mm and a wheel bolt diameter of 275 mm. The 10-bolt axles have a hub diameter of 280 mm and a wheel bolt diameter of 335 mm.

The axles comprise drum brakes with an internal speed sensor. The axles are fitted to the frame with a double link connection. The axles can be rigid (A) or suspended with special polyurethane dampers (B). The axle suspension is completely free of maintenance.
