OC Nozzle Holders
NOTE:
These nozzles must not be used when spraying along surface waters! This is not an edge nozzle.
OC Nozzle Holder with Manually Operated Ball Valve
An OC nozzle holder (A) can be fitted to the end of the spray boom. This adjustable nozzle holder can be fitted with eccentric OC (off centre) split nozzles (standard OC-04). The width of the spraying range can be adjusted by changing the angle of the nozzle holder. These nozzles can be used for temporarily "widening" of the working width, when spraying along field edges, for example. The OC nozzle holder can be operated separately using the manually operated ball valve (B) fitted in the spray boom.
The working width (and therefore also the output in l/ha) of these nozzles depends on the spray boom height, the position of the nozzle holder and the spraying pressure.
OC Nozzle Holder with Electrically Operated Valve
An OC nozzle holder (A) can be fitted to the end of the spray boom. This adjustable nozzle holder can be fitted with eccentric OC (off centre) nozzles (standard OC-04). The width of the spraying range can be adjusted by changing the angle of the nozzle holder. These nozzles can be used for temporarily "widening" of the working width, when spraying along field edges, for example.
The working width (and therefore also the output in l/ha) of these nozzles depends on the spray boom height, the position of the nozzle holder and the spraying pressure.
In electrically operated off-center nozzle, the OC nozzle can be closed electrically from the cab. This can be done in combination with switch 17 of the or EHC-2 control box, if not used for edge tips.
If the switch is in the centre position, the off-center nozzle(s) is/are closed. This is the normal position during spraying.
If the switch is in the left position, the left-hand off-center nozzle is open, if the switch is in the right position, the right-hand off-center nozzle is open.
