Tank Agitation Electric Shut-Off
The agitation device can be switched on or off electrically from the cab by means of switch 6 via the control box of the EHC-2 type. The ON/OFF switch can be pushed down and will return when released (spring loaded). If the red LED on the control box is ON, then the agitation is turned on. If the red LED is OFF, then the agitation is turned off. The electric shut-off valve for sprayers with one pump is a two-way ball valve (A) placed behind the pressure selection valve. For sprayers with two pumps, the manual shut-off valve is replaced by an electric three way ball valve.
If the sprayer is fitted with a tank pressure sensor (digital tank level indicator) and an electric shut-off valve for tank agitation, it is possible to have an automatic agitation stop, controlled by the GreenStar sprayer control system. If the automatic agitation stop is enabled and an agitation tank level is programmed, then the agitation will automatically stop below the agitation tank level (please see also "SETUP Tank Settings" in section "Operation of the GreenStar sprayer control system"). This will be indicated by a caution message "Tank agitation stopped" on the GreenStar display and the LED below the tank agitation switch on the control box will go OFF. It is possible to override the agitation stop using switch 6 on.
