Digital Tank Level Indicator with Automatic Filling Shut-Off

If a tank pressure sensor is fitted in the bottom of the tank, it is possible to read the actual tank volume accurately in the GreenStar 2 display. The tank pressure sensor is a very sensitive electronic component and must not be struck or cleaned with high pressure, as the sensor could be damaged.

Sprayers with automatic filling are fitted with an electric suction unit. Also see "Electric suction unit for sprayers with single pump" in the section entitled "Operation of the Machine".

To fill the tank automatically do the following:

1. Connect the filling hose to the suction unit of the sprayer
2. Set switch 9 of the EHC-2 control box to automatic filling (AUTO).
3. Set the manual 3-way suction valve(s) to "External Suction".
4. Set the pressure selection valve to "Pressure-Free Filling".
5. Select "Job Settings" with softkey G (or button G on the GreenStar display control).

6. "Tank Filling" is selected with softkey A (A on display control), a new screen will appear.
7. Highlight and select "Desired Tank Content", type in the value on the pop-up numeric keypad and enter.
8. Enter the "Density" of the liquid, highlight the field and with the scroll wheel, the value will increment or decrement dependent which direction the wheel is rotated.
9. Select the "Start" button, in the lower right corner of the screen to activate the process.
10. Start the engine and let the pump run.
11. The filling valve(s) will be set automatically to filling (when the desired tank volume is higher than the actual volume).
12. The GreenStar 2 display will show "Filling is Busy, Please wait".
13. When the desired tank volume is reached the filling valve(s) will be closed (reverts to suction from solution tank).
14. Set switch 9 of the EHC-2 control box back to manual.
