Changing Fuel Filter (3215 and 3415)
CAUTION:
Fuel in filter may be under high pressure. Open valve (A) on bottom of filter to relieve pressure prior to removing filter.
1.
Drain water and contaminates from fuel primary and final filters into a suitable container by opening the drain valve (A) on bottom of filter.
2.
Unfasten filter retaining ring (B) and remove filter.
3.
Install new filter, ensuring that the marks on the filter and housing are properly aligned.
4.
Tighten retaining ring (B) until it can be heard to engage.
5.
Bleed the fuel system (see "Bleeding the Fuel System" in "Service-As Required" Section).
