Checking Fuel Filter (3220 and 3420)
Should water or sediment deposits have settled in filter, proceed as follows:
1.
Loosen drain screw (A) and bleed screw (B).
2.
Retighten both screws as soon as water and sediment deposits have drained out.
3.
Bleed fuel system (see "Bleeding the Fuel System" in this Section).
If water was present in fuel filter, then also slacken off the drain screw (C) on fuel tank by one turn. After draining off any water deposits, retighten drain screw by hand.
