Connecting Attachment Hoses

Proceed as follows:

causym CAUTION: The hydraulic system has a maximum pressure of 23500 kPa (235 bar; 3408 psi) on 3215 and 3415, and 25000 kPa (250 bar; 3626 psi) on 3220 and 3420. For your own protection and to assure proper functioning of the system, use only genuine John Deere parts.

1. Lower attachment to the ground, stop engine and apply parking brake.

IMPORTANT: Place shut-off valve lever (B) in closed position to prevent accidental use of pin-locking system.

2. To relieve hydraulic pressure from the lines, shut off engine, switch ignition ON (without starting) then press the buttons (A) on Multi-function lever.

3. Connect hoses to couplers see "Attachment hydraulic functions" in this Section.

4. Raise attachment from the ground and check that the attachment operates correctly.
