Replacing Fan/Alternator V-Belt
Refer to "Checking Belt Tensioner Spring Tension and Belt Wear" to determine if V-belt needs replacing.
1.
Release tension on belt.
2.
Remove V-belt from pulleys and discard belt.
3.
Install new belt (A), be sure that belt is correctly routed and seated in all pulley grooves as shown.
4.
Apply tension to belt with tensioner.
5.
Start engine and check belt alignment.
