Installing Cutterhead With Harvesting Unit

Make sure that lift cylinder arms are vertical. Clearances between bottom and bearing shell center on forage harvester and between bottom and bearing on cutterhead must be approximately the same.

Use bearing shell bolts (A) to secure upper bearing shells (B) in up position as shown.

IMPORTANT: Insert bolts only so far that they are flush with inner surface.

For further cutterhead installation, reverse removal procedure.

Tighten bolts (A) to specified torque.
