Greasing Points Not Lubricated Centrally

On forage harvesters with automatic lubrication, the greasing points listed below must be lubricated with a grease gun, as they are moving or rotating points, or points that need to be greased because of the equipment fit.

10-Hour Interval

• 2 points at u.-j. shaft of front lower feed roll
• 3 points at u.-j. shaft of rear upper feed roll
• 2 points at drive shaft of rear lower roll (smooth roll)
• 2 points at spindles for adjusting kernel processor roll clearance (if equipped)
• 2 points on power chute (if equipped)
• Up to SN 508099 : 2 points on upper front feed roll bearings (grease left-hand side point until grease appears at the shims between roll and feed roll arm.)
• Up to SN 508099 : 1 point on IVLOC drive sprocket cover (30 strokes of grease gun).

50-Hour Interval

• 1 point on sharpening stone guide rod
• 1 point on r.h. end of front lower feed roll

100-Hour Interval

• 1 point on feed roll slip clutch (four-speed LOC)

250-Hour Interval

• 1 point on input shaft, length-of-cut transmission (four-speed LOC)
• 2 points on attaching points of feed roll housing
• 1 point on trailer hitch (if equipped)
• Remove IVLOC drive sprocket cover, clean and pack with new grease.

500-Hour Interval (or at least once a year)

• 1 point on main drive tensioning roll
• 2 points on metal detector stop pawls.
• 2 points on final drives
