Remove and Install High Intensity Discharge (Xenon) Lights (Optional)

CAUTION: Avoid serious injury or death from electric shock or lamp explosion. This lamp is powered by 25,000 volts. Do not begin installation of Xenon lights (HID) unless the lights are turned off, the engine is turned off, the key is removed, and appropriate eye protection is worn.

Remove fixing screws (A) of cab platform HID lights.

Up to SN 508099: Remove adjusting screws (A) of cab roof HID lights.

From SN 508100: Remove fixing screw (A) of cab roof HID lights.

IMPORTANT: To prevent equipment damage, make sure machine lights are turned off before disconnecting wiring harness connector (A).

Remove rubber boot (A) from light.

Disconnect ballast wiring harness connector from light by turning counterclockwise.

Remove and replace bulb.

Attach ballast wiring harness connector (A) to light assembly (B).

Slide rubber boot (A) onto light assembly.

Install light assembly onto cab platform and retain with fixing screws (A).

Adjust light on cab platform with adjusting screws (B) as needed.

Up to SN 508099: Install light assembly (A) onto cab roof and retain with adjusting screws (B).

Adjust light with adjusting screws as needed.

From SN 508100: Install light assembly onto cab roof and retain with fixing screws (A).

Adjust light on cab roof with screw (A) as needed.
