When Ferrous Metal is Detected - Four-Speed LOC
When ferrous metal is found by the metal detector, the metal detector indicator light will glow and the warning signal will be heard. Locking pawl magnetic switch (A) is without current and pulled down by spring force. The locking pawl will stop the feed rolls immediately. At the same time, the electromagnetic clutch will disengage. |

CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury, never search for metal unless all drives are disengaged, engine and ignition switch shut off and all moving parts have stopped.

NOTE: The electromagnetic clutch may also be disengaged by operating quick stop function of multi-function lever, stopping feed rolls and harvesting unit immediately. Searching for Metal: Reverse the feed rolls long enough to reverse the crop out of the feed roll housing. Disengage the main clutch. Shut off engine and wait until all moving parts have stopped. With the help of the metal location information (indicator lights) find the metal and remove it. |
