Operator's Seat Safety Switch - Cutterhead Rotation Alarm
IMPORTANT:
Sounding alarm means cutterhead and blower are turning. Do not open access doors or try to access cutterhead or blower area. Alarm will not sound if engine is running and operator is seated. Do not open access door while engine is running.
The cutterhead rotation alarm will provide an acoustic warning whenever the operator leaves the seat and the cutterhead is spinning forward.
Following input informations are used:

Cutterhead speed
-
Status of seat switch
-
Position of multi-function lever (status of forward / neutral / reverse switch)
-
Status of Powr-Savr interlock power
-
Ignition switch power (operator seated power)
To reengage feed rolls and harvesting unit, move harvesting unit on / reverser switch to neutral and then to ON position.
NOTE:
The electronic system of the forage harvester supports an additional horn function that uses the cutterhead rotation alarm horns if one of the reconfigurable buttons on the multi-function lever is calibrated as horn button.
