Differential

Before draining the oil from axle housing, use oil breather (D) to release possible internal pressure.

To drain the oil remove oil drain plug (B). Clean oil drain plug (B) and tighten it to the specified torque.

Fill oil up to the bottom of hole at filling and level plug.

Wait to allow the oil to flow through the axle. Check oil level and add to the specified level if necessary.

Tighten differential oil filling and level plug (A) to the specified torque.

Reduction Gear

Before draining oil from reduction gear rotate the wheel end so that plug (C) is at the highest position (I) and partially unscrew plug (C) to release possible pressure.

Rotate the reduction gear so that the plug (C) is toward the ground (II).

Remove plug and drain the oil.

Rotate the reduction gear so that the "oil level" line is parallel to the ground (III).

Fill oil up to the bottom of hole at plug.

Tighten plug to the specified torque.
