Avoid Overheating of Hydrostatic System

When hydrostatic oil temperature is too high, an indicator light and the stop light will glow and at the same time the buzzer will be activated (continuous warning signal).

In this case select a lower speed range, giving more efficient hydrostatic system operation and reducing the oil temperature.

IMPORTANT: With ground speed drive stalling, never wait more than 5 seconds before shifting control lever back to "Neutral" position. Then select a lower speed range.

NOTE: The drive wheel torque depends on hydrostatic system oil pressure. If the pressure demand exceeds system pressure, a relief valve will open and the forage harvester will stop. As soon as the pressure demand drops (by selecting a lower speed range), the forage harvester will continue to travel.
