Length-of-Cut Transmission Oil Change (Four-Speed LOC)

Change transmission oil once a year (oil specification see "Fuel, Lubricants, Coolant and Capacities" Section).

Remove drain plugs (C) and drain oil.

NOTE: BOTH drain plugs (C) have to be removed as the connecting bore in the transmission housings is not at the lowest point.

Reinstall drain plugs.

Remove vent plug and, by means of a funnel, fill 17 L (4.5 U.S. gal) of transmission oil through filler opening (A) (oil specification see "Fuel, Lubricants, Coolant and Capacities" Section).

With front shield in vertical position check oil level at check plug (B).

Reinstall vent plug and check plug.
