Power ChuteOptional equipment to replace the standard chute when operating in difficult, gummy crop conditions. Inside the power chute is a rotor with two blades; this rotor accelerates the flow of crop and feeds it to the fan. The power chute is required for operation when recirculating screens are installed. Recirculating screens are required when harvesting corn (maize); they break down the dry leaves and husks. They can also be used in alfalfa to break up the stems. |
