Attaching Suitcase Weights

When 2, 4, 6 or 8 weights are to be installed, use one M16 bolt with hex. nut on each side:

• 2 suitcase weights = M16x70 (8.8)
• 4 suitcase weights = M16x130 (8.8)
• 6 suitcase weights = M16x180 (8.8)
• 8 suitcase weights = M16x230 (8.8)

When 12 weights are to be installed, use one 5/8x13-3/8 inch bolt with hex. nut on each side.

When 10, 14 or 18 weights are to be installed, use one M16 bolt with hex. nut and one inch bolt with hex. nut on each side. Refer to the illustration opposite and the following information:

• 10 suitcase weights = M16x70 (8.8), 5/8x8-1/2
• 14 suitcase weights = M16x180 (8.8), 5/8x8-1/2
• 18 suitcase weights = M16x180 (8.8), 5/8x13-3/8
