Avoid Overheating of the Hydrostatic System

When the hydrostatic oil temperature is too high an instrument panel light will come on.

If this occurs, reduce the ground speed to allow the system to operate more efficiently and reduce the oil temperature.

NOTE: The amount of torque available from the transmission depends on the system oil pressure. If this pressure exceeds the system's capacity the relief valve will open and the combine will stop. When the pressure drops after a lower gear is selected the combine will again operate normally.
