Chaffer Extension
Chaffer extension is installed in place of the conventional chaffer to optimize corn harvesting by means of longer adjustable fins or to minimize blockages caused by cob pieces.
Recovers any head or ear tips that have not been fully threshed. Should be a little more open than the chaffer.
In hilly terrain the opening needs to be larger than normal. Further, there are two openings with inserts (grids) on the ends of the extension to capture material accumulating there when operating on slopes.
NOTE:
In extremely hilly terrain a chaffer extension for corn can be used.
