Draining the Hydraulic System Oil

The hydraulic system must be completely drained when changing oil.

1. Lower the header to the ground, lower the reel completely and place the unloading auger in the transport position (closed).

2. Remove the hydraulic reservoir drain plug (A) and drain the oil into an appropriate container.

NOTE: The hydraulic reservoir drain plug (A) is located below the fuel tank at right-hand side of combine.

3. Disconnect the hoses from all hydraulic cylinders, the control return hose and the reel drive system hoses from the flow regulating valve. Let the oil flow out of these points.

NOTE: Before disconnecting the hoses clean the connections thoroughly.

4. After draining all oil, replace all connections and reinstall the reservoir drain plug (A).
