Underthreshing
Underthreshing is the result of low cylinder speed or excessive cylinder to concave spacing.
First increase cylinder speed by 5%. If this does not solve the problem, reduce the concave to cylinder spacing slightly. Check the result of each adjustment.
In certain conditions (low level of straw in the crop) underthreshing may not be solved by these adjustments alone. If this is the case, increase the combine ground speed by selecting a faster range.
IMPORTANT:
Always check results before attempting further adjustments. Never change any adjustment by more than 5% at a time.
