Adjusting Wheel Circumference

To allow efficient computer calculations, effective wheel circumference where the sending unit is mounted requires to be correctly encoded.

Proceed as follows:

Switch ON monitor (see "Switching On Combine Harvester Computer" in this Section) or go to the "Main Menu", then select "Encode" function.

Select the "Wheel Circumf." function, as shown.

A new page is displayed:

Here you can enter the effective wheel circumference. Measure it as follows.

Make a mark on the ground and on the tire.

Make 10 revolutions with this wheel.

Mark out on the field again.

Measure the distance between the two marks and divide the result by 10. The result is the effective wheel circumference.

IMPORTANT: Effective wheel circumference must be encoded in cm. i.e. 3.36 m (10.18 ft) is encoded as 336.

Use numeric keys to enter the value.

Press "Return" key to return to the previous function or to the main menu.
