Before Starting the Engine

The parking brake (A) must be applied.

Disengage header, separator and unloader levers (B)-(C)-(D).

Turn battery safety switch (E) to "engaged" position.

Move the throttle lever (F) to the slow idle position (turtle).

Move forward/reverse lever (G) to neutral position, as otherwise engine cannot be started.

C-Separator Drive Disengaged
D-Unloader Drive Disengaged
E-Battery Safety Switch Engaged
F-Throttle In Slow Idle Position
G-Forward/Reverse Lever In Neutral Position
