Harvesting Large Crops

Large crops (soy beans, corn, sunflower seeds) require the same procedures, but the cylinder to concave spacing is greater. For corn, spacing is determined by the size (thickness) of the ear and the ease with which it can be shelled. Normally this spacing is set wide enough to keep the shelled ears whole or in large pieces during threshing.
