Tilting Cutterbar

To carry out this adjustment loosen the six screws (B) on each side of the header.

Cutterbar tilt is adjusted with adjusting screws (A) and nut (C) located on each arm (D) under the cutting platform.

Cutterbar Parallel to the Ground

Use this setting for level ground that is mostly free of rocks.

NOTE: This is the factory setting for the cutting platforms.

Cutterbar Tilted Up

Use this position for very irregular ground with roots, rocks, etc.

Cutterbar Tilted Down

Use this setting for wet ground to avoid accumulating mud on the skid shoes or for low-height plants (e.g. soy or other beans) to reach most of the low-lying pods.

IMPORTANT: When making this adjustment the alignment of the double tines along the entire cutterbar must be maintained.
