Adjusting Concave-to-Cylinder Spacing

Bolt (A) adjusts the rear and bolt (B) adjusts the front.

1. Put the concave lever pawl in the second opening from the top of the segment (C).

2. Rear Opening. Allow 4-5 mm (0.16 to 0.2 in.) of play between the highest cylinder bar (the one that projects the most) and the third concave bar from the rear.

3. Front Opening. Allow 7-8 mm (0.27 to 0.31 in.) of space between the highest cylinder bar and the second concave bar from the front.

4. Repeat the adjustment on the other side.
