Cleaner Arms and Connecting Rods

If the arm and connecting rod rubber bushings are changed, the bushing bolts should be tightened when the arms and connecting rods are in their center positions. The center position is determined by turning the beater drive pulley by hand until an imaginary connecting rod center line forms a 90° angle with a line between the center of the journal and the center of the crankshaft.

IMPORTANT: While checking the combine after each harvest, inspect the arm and connecting rod rubber bushings and replace any damaged ones. Change the bushings every 500 hours.
