Removing and Installing the Cutterbar

Remove the two bolts (A) holding support (B) to the actuating arm (C). If a new cutter blade needs to be installed, remove the support from the blade to be changed by removing pin (D) and slotted nut (E). Tighten the slotted nut (E) to 160 N·m (120 lb-ft).

To install the cutter blade, insert bolts (A) but do not tighten them.

Adjust the support vertical position (B) so that the blade lightly touches the double finger without exerting any pressure (see the figure).

Tighten bolts (A) to 117 N·m (85 lb-ft).
