Reel Speed Control Knob (Optional)

The knob (A) allows the automatic control of the ratio of the reel speed to ground speed.

To operate:

1. Start the engine and drive forward with the separator and header engaged.

2. Watch the speed of the reel and adjust the knob (A) until you get the desired ratio to ground speed.

3. The reel will now speed up or slow down in relation to the ground speed.

IMPORTANT: Automatic reel speed control will not operate if ground speed is less than 1.2 km/h (0.75 mph).

When operating at less than 1.2 km/h (0.75 mph), the manual reel speed switch (B) allows to increase the minimum reel speed.

To change the minimum speed:

1. Start the engine. Engage the separator and header then run engine at high idle.

2. Turn the reel speed control knob (A) to the " OFF " position.

3. Press the manual switch (B) to get the minimum reel speed desired.

4. Turn knob (A) to the " CHECK " position for two or three seconds.

5. Return the knob to the previous setting and continue operating. This minimum speed is kept until the engine is shut off.

IMPORTANT: The minimum speed being not stored, always set minimum reel speed before operating the combine.
