Operating Straw Chopper

causym CAUTION: Before switching the straw chopper on or off, always switch off all drives, shut off the engine and wait until all moving parts have come to a stop.

Before switching on, fold deflector sheet (B) in the straw hood to the chopping position by pulling lever (A) downward.

Before switching off, fold deflector sheet (B) to the windrow position by raising lever (A).

Remove Cover

Loosen three screws (A) and rotate cover to remove.

Engage/Disengage Dog Clutch

To switch on straw chopper, push flange (A) and engage dog clutch (B).

To switch off straw chopper, pull flange (A) and disengage dog clutch (B).

Install clutch cover.
