Adjusting Unloading Auger Swing

NOTE: The retracted swing cylinder is intended to be the stop for the auger. DO NOT use the pin or switch as a stop. The pin is intended ONLY to aid in absorbing vertical load of the auger in transport position. The switch is intended ONLY to shut off electrical power to the solenoids.

Make the following adjustments ONLY when the auger does not swing completely back or fails to shut off the hydraulic system.

Swing auger all of the way in.

Be certain there is a 12 to 16 mm (0.47 to 0.63 in.) gap between plate (A) and stop (B) when stud (C) is in hole (D). If there is no gap, the hydraulic system may not shut off.

Set Cylinder Rod Fitting

If the gap is incorrect, loosen nut (A), remove cotter pin and pivot pin (B). Screw cylinder rod fitting (C) in or out to obtain correct gap (cylinder rod must be completely retracted).

Replace pivot pin and cotter pin. Tighten nut.

NOTE: Applying grease on pivot pin and swinging auger in and out may aid in determining gap.
