Towing the Combine
Prepare combine as shown under "Transporting under Own Power".
CAUTION:
Never tow combine with a wire rope. Always use a suitable towbar. Connect towbar to towing eye on front axle.
Tow combine at a safe and suitable speed, not to exceed 20 km/h (12.4 mph).
IMPORTANT:
Towing at speeds higher than 20 km/h (12.4 mph) could damage tires, transmission and final drives.
Comply with local traffic regulations when towing the harvester, e.g. turn on flashing warning lights, display warning signs etc.
Have a driver in the operator's seat to steer and brake the combine.
Place gear shift and ground speed drive control levers in neutral position
IMPORTANT:
During towing, it is essential that the three-speed transmission is in neutral.
Release parking brake.
