Skid Plates with Sensor Straps

The second skid plate in from each end of the header is provided with two spring-cushioned sensor straps (A).

These skid plates are provided with cutouts to permit the sensor straps to seat when the header is fully lowered.

At the front, the straps are attached to a connector shaft which actuates the potentiometer mounted on the skid plate.

Sensor straps (A) contact the ground up to a max. cutting height of 200 mm (7.87. in.) and control cutting height and lateral tilt of header.
