Sensor Strap

When lifting up the header, the sensor straps are pulled into lowermost position by means of two springs (A) located between the sensor strap shaft and the skid plate.

The front attaching screws of the sensor strap simultaneously form the stop if the sensor strap is pushed fully upward.

If the potentiometer is connected and if the Automatic Header Control system is in operating mode "31", the following figures should be displayed on the tachometer:

3.0 to 4.5 volts with header lifted and sensor strap without ground contact

0.5 to 2.0 volts with header completely lowered and sensor strap completely pushed upward.

Intermediate values should serve as basic adjustment:

3.7 volts (header raised)

1.2 volts (header lowered)

The difference between these values should be more than 2 volts.
