Tensioning Fan Drive Belt - Cummins Engine

Loosen screws (A) and lock nut (B).

Tension belt by means of tensioning screw (C) until correct belt tension is obtained.

Tighten lock nut (B) and screws (A).

Check belt tension.

Specification

New Belt -Tension 620 N (140 lb)
Used Belt -Tension 270-490 N (60-110 lb)

IMPORTANT: Always replace both fan drive belts.
