Important Lubrication Instructions

Forage harvester without central lubrication only

Fitting (A) lubricates both right and left upper front feed roll bearings. Apply lubricant until visible around left end hub.

Apply grease at fitting (B) until grease becomes visible around housing. Minimum 25 strokes of grease gun.

All forage harvesters (regardless of equipment fitted)

Apply grease at fitting (C) every 250 hours. Apply 20 strokes of grease gun (30 grammes, 1.06 oz.).

NOTE: Unless the forage harvester is equipped with central lubrication, apply grease manually (i.e with a grease gun) to all the fittings at the intervals shown in the following lube charts. The following lube charts indicate which lube points need to be greased manually on forage harvesters equipped with central lubrication (they are marked with a grease gun), and which lube points are connected to the central lubrication system (these are marked with a grease reservoir symbol).
