Coolant Temperature and Charge Air Temperature Indicator Light

lights up if coolant temperature exceeds 104°C (220°F).

Run engine without load for a short period. If temperature will not drop, stop engine and remedy the fault.

6650, 6750 and 6850

If temperature rises above the warning threshold, this indicator light comes on in conjunction with service code 62 (and subsequently with service code 68), and engine power is reduced by 2% per minute up to a maximum power reduction of 20%.

When temperature drops below the warning threshold, engine power is increased in increments of 2% until maximum power output is achieved.
