Adjusting Outlet Band

CAUTION: To adjust outlet band, lock cutterhead at bottom band.

Loosen lock nuts (A) and hex. nuts (B).

Loosen attaching bolts (C) and (D) on both sides.

Using cam (E), turn adjusting plate (F) towards cutterhead.

Turn hex. nuts (B) until outlet band (G) contacts adjusting plates (F).

Repeat this procedure until dimension (X) = 2 mm (0.08 in.) is obtained.

Tighten attaching bolts (C) and (D) and lock nuts (A).

Unlock cutterhead (remove wooden block) and turn by hand to make sure that it rotates freely.

Check rubber seal (H). Slide forward or replace, if necessary.

Install rear cover of sharpening device.

Close service cover.

Disconnect hook at tension cylinder arm.
