Adjusting Blower Paddles

CAUTION: Before servicing or adjusting the harvester, disengage all drives, shut off engine and wait until all moving parts have stopped.

Open service cover (A) and secure with trolley below operator's platform.

NOTE: Only use blower paddles (A) with blunt edge.

For true running and good flow of material, all paddles have to be installed parallel, with a clearance (X) of 1.5 ± 0.5 mm (0.06 ± 0.02 in.) between paddles and wear plate (A).

Adjustment is carried out at a distance of Y = 130 mm (5.0 in.) - measured from front edge of wear plate. Use a feeler gauge for adjustment.

NOTE: To facilitate adjustment, it may be advisable to use two feeler gauges per paddle.

Tighten lock nuts (B) to 215 N·m (159 lb-ft).

IMPORTANT: Make sure that blower rotor can rotate freely.

X-1.5 ± 0.5 mm (0.06 ± 0.02 in.)
Y-130 mm (5.0 in.)
