Self-Test of Engine Electronic System (6950 Only)

After switching on ignition, a self-test of the engine electronic system is carried out. Press service code switch on the side with no symbol on it.

The three engine indicator lights (stop, warning and protection lights) will light up for 2 seconds.

Then the engine warning light will go out.

0.5 seconds later the engine stop light will go out.

0.5 seconds later the engine protection light will go out.

If the indicator lights go out in the sequence listed above, there is no engine or electronic system malfunction.

If one of the indicator lights stays on, a malfunction is indicated (see "Calling Up Service Codes" in this Section).
