Adjusting Sharpening Cycles On INFO-TRAK™ Monitor

Sharpening cycles can be adjusted on INFO-TRAK ™ monitor when ignition is on.

Sharpening cycle - Movement of sharpening stone from r.h. end position to l.h. end position.

Press key (A) to call up number of sharpening cycles adjusted previously.

Select desired number of sharpening cycles by pressing key (A) and simultaneously turning knob (B). Turn knob to the right to increase number of cycles. Turn knob to the left to reduce number of cycles.

A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 30 sharpening cycles may be adjusted.

NOTE: The last 6 sharpening cycles will smooth knives, i.e. the sharpening stone is advanced less to provide smooth knife cutting edges.

Due to an improvement in the quality of the sharpening stone, the cycles can be reduced in number by approx. 1/3. Recommendation: Carry out a series of sharpening tests to ascertain the appropriate number of cycles required.
